Richard,

I'm interested in how you keep all symbols. One of the first things I did when I got QP2 was run the scan that produced virtual subdirectories for all symbols.

However, if I wanted to find a single stock at some later time, I had to wander around 4-5 directories to find it. Then I used the QV feature to rename from META01, etc to the symbol of the first stock in each subdirectory. But, as you said, this very quickly became out of date. I just reran that same scan again last night, but the renaming process is too lengthy for me to want to do it very often. That's why I thought it might be best to have REAL MS files.

What have I missed here? And thank you.

Ken
