Declined comment? Sounds like a deal to me. It's when they say that "they're not in talks" when the rumor is just that. Tight lips means something is up.

ASND in CBS Newswatch Market Snapshot:

ASND will lead on the upside!

"The Dow is building support in the 8,800-to-8,900 range, but the
problem is that other indexes like the Russell 2000, Dow
Transports, and Nasdaq are failing to do the same," said
Robert Dickey, managing director of technical research at Dain
Rauscher Wessels. "With the market still firmly locked in a
correction mode, it's likely that the Dow will also succumb to
further downside pressure in the weeks to come.
"There appears to be at least two weeks of potential downside
and testing ahead before the market will regroup enough to rally
with any conviction," Dickey said. "In the meantime, the strong
stocks like Cisco, Dell, and Ascend will stay that way and will
lead on the upside again once the bottom is behind us."
