Correct, I've heard that silly little argument for months. Its political tripe. If the DOW quivers a bit, the Japanese will lunge in to pick up any proffered fruits. The Kahuna faithful will be disappointed again, as this irrational old bull stumbles forward to new heights but fails to crash in spite of all the historical precedent that has been bandied about since DOW 6000.

Great point. If Clinton really believed it was only sex, you're right, he would have said "okay, I lied to protect my daughter, I made a mistake, I'm sorry, now let's get on with governing the country," would have made that statement on a Friday evening after a major news day (maybe including a new Stock Market high and after signing several popular bills like the IRS restructuring.) If it really were only sex, he would get away with it. He knows it ain't.
