Yeah, really fought that subpoena issue bare fisted didn't he ? This Lindsey back deal sure was a convenient happenstance. I remember as the circle drew tighter around Nixon the chief bulwarks of his defense team started exiting one by one, till there was a pathetic beaten team left, and then there was none. Key players I haven't heard anything from in recent days are Hillary and Jordan. I really wonder what they are thinking right now.

Don't underestimate Hillary's staying power. I am convinced she wants the presidency. I think if things had gone well in the second term, she would have run against Gore.

Now I believe she'll attempt to distance herself as soon as the poll numbers head south. Wait till 2004.
