Such things examined do tend to cause me great curiousity wondering about it all.

I believe for a while the Lord would like me to just be quiet and enjoy the peace and utter calm of life. I do enjoy other people's thoughts and like to have time to think about them.

But Augustine's life, like so many others, is simply a wondrous study in human change. It is more fascinating that hardly a one of them started out a pious and reticent youth. I guess that bares out the scripture: whom much is forgiven, much is required. Something very much like that.

But, as usual, Gregor is absolutely right. And there are scriptures to back his words up. Probably the only things I could say to you I've said. All I can do is repeat them, actually. And would, but I am in an usually peaceful state of mind these days.
