My best guess for value is $2100

For two monitors you will need to upgrade to Win98...Or NT or get a multimonitor card.

To my knowledge HP has good customer support.

I would want to know about the proprietary aspects of the computer. How many open expansion slots are there? Does the computer come with the OS as a separate installation or is there a complete software install disk which includes the OS?

Well I got it today....sure is FAST !
There were 2 sets of Windows 95 disks & certificate of authinticity & all that. Too bad one wasnt win 98.

Question....since I dont know much about computers and this refub only comes with a 90 day warranty, should I pay the $100-120 for a 2 or 3 year extended service plan ? It's through surplus direct in cooperation with National Warrany corporation. Says its on site and covers parts and labor. There is no deductable and it is transferable.
I know these warranties are high profit for the sellers but just ONE instance and it would pay for itself. Plus with the DVD it could break too.
What do I do ? 2 YEARS for $100, 3 for $120 or bank the $$ for future repairs ?
I've heard that IF something is going to go wrong it'll do so within 90 days and therefore the chances of anything else happening are slim Comments ?
