Based on the latest poll numbers, it looks like he will not ultimately resign, regardless of the crimes he is proven to have committed. The Senate will not have the political guts to boot him out. Even the House may not impeach him.

A couple of guys on the Iridium thread are complaining about the two of us not providing any substance to our political debate. These two are married to the DNC through their loyalty to Bernard Schwartz, the dems' biggest contributor. Neither Drew Williams or dougn have ever participated in a factual dialog with me. Yet they gossip about our posts exclusively containing insults, not discussion. An objective observer would say the opposite. Dragonfly, the third leg of their consortium, has been suspended by SI for the vulgarity laden posts he made on the Loral Political thread. I'll say this for Dragonfly, at least he showed up to the party to state his position. (And then he slithered away in defeat.) These guys won't even engage in debate, yet they gossip in the dark corridors of SI. Message 5370067
