Bob,

I have created a portfolio of my favourite Y2K shorts. It is up about 20% already in the last week. Other than the obvious shorts like Zitel, ALYD is currently my favourite long term Y2K short. Short term it is a good company which has had 2 good Q's in a row and will probably continue to for another Q or so. However it is also the only Y2K stock that is still priced at about 5 times optimistic book value in 2000. It is also a Y2K pure play with no assets tangible or intangible that will have value after 1/1/00.

I expect ALYd to have 2 more good quarters this year, and then collapse when their growth reverses or goes into the red early next year.
