No; it's largely due to the rumored Asnd/Stratus merger. Actually, I am frantically trying to find out that if the "insiders selling" contradictes the Merger possibility... Gary Korn? Djane?

No the drop is due to the ill concieved and then leaked acquistion of stratus computer. What a joke. Company remains silent acellerating fall.

ASND is buying optics! The only REAL direction for ASND to go is to buy an optics DWDM company. They have stated before that the strategic direction is to marry the optics part with the switch. They are already working very closely with CIEN, Pirelli, and another company I cant recall to put optics multiplexing into the MAX TNT II. This is EXTREMELY logical, TLAB has already gone for it, LU is king of it. Optics is clearly going to be the backbone medium of the future. IT HAS TO BE OPTICS! I would put my portfolio on it but it is slowly evaporating so I'll take all $1 bets. Pete :o)
