Thanks for your post Chad - the only diamonds that make
mining them economic are the big center pieces. The small
gem, near gem and industrial are sold cheaply to foreign
cutters, mostly in India for cheap jewelry. The larger
diamonds are still in big demand as investments. Just
think of the value of a small safety deposit box full of
20 to 100 carat stones! FALC has produced not one large
diamond in ten years of exploration, not even one fluke
occurence has happened during that long length of time.
Not by any of the majors or any of the juniors - it just
ain't there.
