Sandra:

Some of these malcontents live in their own world... They see conspiracies all around them... The strength of the Amigos and 56 threads is the sharing of many ideas for each person to do their own DD... Those on the fringes, pecking away on their keyboards from their mountain cabins are always looking for a new conspiracy... In the meantime the rest of us are making money...

Jim

You posted, "The thing that gets me with these imposters/posters is they never say what they buy!!"

One thing I and several others (I've received private messages from several people who frequent the thread agreeing with me) have noticed about this thread is no one ever says when they SELL. By my calculation, this thread should own about 50% of companies like ANTX, STVI, AIRM and APCO. How many of you bought ESV when it was first discussed here? Several posters said they did. Now take a look at the chart; when did those people SELL it? No one ever posted that they did sell, and I don't believe that the buyers held for the massive drop in the stock that occurred. The same scenario has been played out with dozens of other stocks here, and is obviously the reason why the "amigofolio" is no longer updated; doing so would require admitting that losing positions have either been maintained or liquidated. James Strauss' posts of "I bought more today" about TAVA, APCO, and CADE during the last month are great for a laugh; if he really buys when he says he buys but never SELLS, he gives a whole new definition to the term "averaging down." If he DOES in fact sell, but never posts when he does so....well, that's probably why he feels at home on this thread.
