It would be interesting to compare this to the OCT '97 time frame or to the start of bear markets. Don't know if that data is available, but it would be interesting.....

Gee Monty I just wanted a couple numbers like a date and price for the bottom of the BK. That was too many numbers.

Kidding aside, I read all your posts on this thread and really appreciate your work. But is the trend linear? I'm not sure that because there are a majority under their 200dma that they don't have some potential to go back above it while those that are now above go below. (Rotation?) Then where's the BK? There are some companies making money that sell for book value or less, someone might decide to sell a 400 p/e stock to buy a 4p/e stock. Then my portfolio will appreciate.(g)

I'm not saying the market isn't top heavy. It is. Where do you see it getting to for a low this year? I think this BK will be the kind that you recognize 5 years after its over.

BTW I bought SPX puts this morning and sold them about 3:30 this afternoon. So I was bearish today.
