Wcom just fired up there fiber ring in Europe. Just wait until post-merger MCI/WorldCom begins to migrate all that Fortune 500 network traffic onto it's backbone! I guess it's time to just sit back take Jack Grubman's advice and watch the stock take off.

Looking for Option Advice:

1. I have a few Sept60 calls. In light of A) the Market, B) approval of the merger, C) WCOM prospects overall, what price do you see in Aug/ Sept. I think we could get close to 60. However, taking into account the Market, I also think we could all head for a tumble.

2. What do people here think about WCOM LEAPS? For instance, Jan 2000 60 calls at about 17-18. If WCOM performs the way it should, these could be very lucrative, and provide some protection from volatility; almost a cross between an option and a stock.
