Your Money
or
Your Complaint

Many of the readers on SI are aware that the "little fish" is real. He is getting a cold call from his broker, or getting an Email through the pennyweb. In the past, these shareholders had no recourse when they were ripped off. Few of them had the time or the resources to make complaints that were acted on. So it has always been.

SI, and to a lesser degree some other sites, have changed that. Now, very sophisticated people are a click away. Inside routes to power exist here, DD that was not possible before is now provided. You can still get burned, but you have an opportunity to avoid the more blatant grabs for your money.

When someone does lose money in a scam, they can usually point out exactly what bit of tripe they ate. Those complaints, especially ones which pinpoint information that is accessible, from a shareholder who has lost money, they work.
