How many mutual funds to stock issues did we have in 1990,
to what we have now ?

Jim, I read or heard the other day that we now have more mutual funds than stocks.

I think we have more of a war ( competition )among funds, than
stocks, and this is putting a whole new face on the stock
market.

I think you are right about this. I also read or heard somewhere that some of the mutual funds would short other mutual fund stocks.
