Bill, Not having read the article, I don't think they are referring to the small and microcaps, rather it is the YHOO, SEEK, LCOS, XCIT, CGMC, OMKT, ONSL, AOL, CSCO, and the like, that the hedgers et al are trying to guess the tops.

So far they have been a tad unsuccessful. Once either investor psychology turns negative or the companies start posting earnings so that models can be run will the topping out begin. Remember the Gambling stocks back in the early 80's and more recently the Biotechs? Each novel sector has its' "15 minutes" of fame and then attention is turned elsewhere.

I still think we're in the infancy of the internet 'fad' let's enjoy it while it lasts.

Best,

To All:

I'd like state a "what if" scenario and see comments and thoughts.
Just recently I was thinking about the significance of the news release a while back with regards to the 125,000 insurance agents. Then the light bulb came on, you know how real estate agents must pay a fee to use the Multiple Listing Service (MLS) to get info on houses for sale (and that's national)? Well, what if FNTN provides the MLS equivalent for insurance agents? What about the medical profession? I think the potential is enormous! Just think, that's one of many possibilities for this intranet based business.

Bill, I read it too but my trust in "those" people is very limited.
There are no rules and numbers in this message and I hold many small Internet stocks (limited positions) that went up and down several 100%.
So far FNTN is very steady up but if it jumps to $20 in few days and somebody can make millions shorting it (via Canadian houses?), they will. For MM's it's just money, they don't care about the stock potential based on their business.
It (the news) could be correct in general but FNTN has such a great chance to trade in high levels that we might not be immune to some shorting in the future.
