Look at the blue chips, they release four to five news items daily. Their stocks still go down and up with all releases, but it at least keeps the traders and investors on their toes and interested in trading. Disinterested trading is as bad as disinterested sex. Right now we all reached an 'over talked' position with no news from the company. At least one news item every 3-4 days will do good to move this stock up/down...

<<-Sell that expensive home office in Mountain View, CA and move into trailers in East Palo Alto, CA. (i.e. the getto).
-Sell Wilson's company owned Mercedes and give him a bike.
-Staff the corporate office down to where Wilson has to answer the phone.
-Eliminate the perks (i.e. picnics).
-Fire at least 1/2 of the remaining V.P.'s.>>

- I wouldn't own a company knowing it's offices were in the ghetto.
- Why should the CEO of Vivus ride a bike? Mercedes? Yeah, sell it and that will make the price pop overnight.
- I don't want Leland answering the phones. He needs to be running our company. Besides, he'd have to put up with all the "moods" of the investors if he answered the phone.
-Eliminate employee perks? If you have ever been an employee or an employer, you would know it just doesn't work that way. Unhappy, unappreciated employees are counter-productive. A picnic is a show of appreciation and pride in your employees. Sounds like a pretty inexpensive way to accomplish this to me.
-Fire the VP's? OK, there is a reasonable request. I guess. Wonder how much their severance packages would cost us?

I am on the same team as you all. Just looking at some things from a different angle. I chose not to slam every aspect of something I put my money & trust into.
