Dale, Nice to meet you at the meeting. I agree, the benefits of the exposure of DCTC to hordes of new investor via an Amex listing would be a huge benefit to us. Just imagine if one fund manager took an interest and wanted to step up for a few million shares? I have personally owned 2 AMEX stocks in the past and did not have any problems buying/selling those stocks. The NYSE also uses the market specialist system as opposed to MM's and is the best place to be IMO. This week showed us how DCTC will respond if the overhead is removed, perhaps the AMEX exposure would be enough new buying pressure to offset the CC selling??

James

dale, I agree with you, I don't think there's even one BB stock a month on NBR. And I have stated LONG ago, before the issue EVER came up, that as an OTC-BB stock DCI is not going to ever be given any real widespread exposure, AT ALL.
.
And yes, AMEX is a "step up" from the OTC-BB, no question. AMEX for decades was a premier exchange, respected world-wide.
.
But today, IMO, the AMEX has little respect. As I posted yesterday, Do YOU follow the major market # each day? Well MOST people do not care one bit about that figure. They watch the DOW and the NASDAQ.
.
So what's an AMEX listing to get the Company? YES, I agree they could get a recommendation. They could get a FEW recommendations.
.
Again think of yourself, and if you're the exception, think of the MAJORITY of people. Ask yourself (all of you out there) these questions:
How many different NYSE stocks do I own today? How many have I purchased in the past 12 months?
.
How many different NASD stocks do I own today? How many have I purchased in the past 12 months?
.
How many different AMEX stocks do I own today? How many have I purchased in the past 12 months?
.
If you honestly rank the answers to these six questions, you may see why I don't want the AMEX as the home for DCI.
