George; RE> Has anybody noticed that the Nikkei and yen have parted company? Yen back near the lows, but Nikkei hold nicely above 16,000. A good omen for Japanese stocks methinks.

I disagree about it being a good omen, ( maybe in an odd way )
but this dis-coupling wont last very long, either the stocks will
tank or the Yen will come back. If it's a prelude to the Yen making
a comeback I guess that could be a good omen , depending on
which side of the fence your on, but I would not want any part of
Japanese stocks at this point.
