Do you know if they will have drivers for NT? That is what corporate america is buying so if they want to get business application image they better have great NT support.

Creative goes back underground - Conspiracy Theory Uncovered Me: <<Creative and 3dfx are sponsoring a win-a-banshee contest together.>> The contest now says it's sponsored by ONLY 3dfx. They must have changed it only a few hours after realizing they spilled the beans a little early. Man this is weird. We are about 2-3 weeks away from release. Why is it that the European IHV's are the only ones that have announced? Why is it okay to announce TNT early but not Banshee? Wouldn't TNT take away sales from Creative's Voodoo2 too? The fact that ALL the American IHV's have yet to announce tells me that 3dfx is the one wanting to keep the cat in the bag. I mean, we know Diamond is doing one, but they STILL HAVEN'T ANNOUNCED A SPECIFIC PRODUCT. They have, however, officially announced TNT and S3. Banshee is the only unannounced new product in their lineup. Why? From Tom's Hardware: " I am also hoping for a better Banshee 16 MB card, since I hear that the one I've got doesn't have much to do with the final product." They're only a couple weeks away from retail shelves. Why wouldn't they give Tom the final design? Pat's Conspiracy Speculation (read at your own risk): Something unexpected is going to hit when Banshee finally goes public. It might be standard H3D glasses. It might be a .25 micron design. Maybe Banshee comes with a free Tickle-me-Elmo. Whatever it is, it's big enough to want to hide. I'm starting a pool on the final specs starting now. My vote is for the Elmo. Pat P.S.
