Daulat: Yes, but a later Yahoo poster said his ML broker advised not to buy CA yet. The fact is that ML downgraded the stock after earnings. After Morgan Stanley did a 24 hour U-turn by upgrading CA after downgrading it the day before, Faber of CNBC claims to have spoken with the ML analyst to ask whether he, too, would upgrade in light of the sharp fall in the stock price to $40 (as it was then) and he reported that the ML guy said that with a growth rate of 12% going forward (where do they get these figures) he would not recommend a buy at $40. Maybe ML is bracing itself to recommend at $33 but if I know ML they will wait until a lot of stock price has been recovered before they will recommend a buy.

Does CA have a history of talking to analysts?
