Cool you sound like a desperate long scrambling for some logic to justify the high PE ratio of PeopleSoft. When you are a rising star doing triple digit growth rates every year a lot may be forgiven. But just become another solid company and there's all hell to pay. The Market decides whether or not the stock is overvalued not me or you and right now it's saying it is. Granted the current market conditions has hurt but this started in april. It looks to me from a technical point of view that long term investors may be in for a rough time over the next couple of months. Good luck to all longs. It's a solid company in uncertain times.

Please reread post, I simply pointed out another alternative. I am long the stock and believe this company has a great future. However, trying not to be an Ostrich, I am always wary of stocks with multiples in this range.
