To Robert and All Others on this thread:

Robert, please don't take this the wrong way, I mean no harm! I just wanted to provoke a thought. I ponder this question myself a lot. I ask you this lovingly....

You said,

"... as the Old Covenant has been replaced by the New Covenant."

If you do away with the Old Covenant completely, and there are still truths, prophecies and principles that are still left, and God wants you to learn, know and teach from them, how will you feel on judgement day? How do you think you will feel in front of our Almighty Father, if he tells what you have been teaching has been wrong or not 100% true? What if you are leading people astray? I pray about this a lot in regards to myself.

That's why I pray about all my posts. And if I'm not sure of something 100% and have no conviction from the Holy Spirit, one way or the other, I don't say it. Teaching others the bible takes a lot and one must be very careful doing it. I'm sure you know that already and take this into consideration.

Ponder this:

James 3
1 Be not many [of you] teachers, my brethren, knowing that we shall receive heavier judgment.

Just wanted to post this to you, as I was inspired to, and others on this thread. I mean no harm, please know that!

May God teach us his words and ways accurately, always!

God Bless,
Steve

Good morning Robert;

I am getting confused about were we are disagreeing. Your said <<This is what is meant when they are said to be " forever ", they have abolished their " outward " practices and found their fulfillment completely in the Lord Jesus Christ. >> I thought you were saying that the word forever did not necessarily mean forever. That is were I was disagreeing.

<<This is what is meant when they are said to be " forever ", they have abolished their " outward " practices and found their fulfillment completely in the Lord Jesus Christ. >> I agree, this is what is meant by the word forever and God has said what he meant when he uses the word. When I talked about Passover evolving perhaps it was a poor choice of words. What I meant was what you said above. Simply that the Passover was ordained forever and was fulfilled in Yeshua. Not done away with but finding its purpose forever in the Messiah.

I would like to return to the question that we began this path with.

Eze 37:25 And they shall dwell in the land that I have given unto Jacob my servant, wherein your fathers have dwelt; and they shall dwell therein, [even] they, and their children, and their children's children for ever: and my servant David [shall be] their prince for ever.

Isa 60:21 Thy people also [shall be] all righteous: they shall inherit the land for ever, the branch of my planting, the work of my hands, that I may be glorified

Jer 24:6 For I will set mine eyes upon them for good, and I will bring them again to this land: and I will build them, and not pull [them] down; and I will plant them, and not pluck [them] up.

Joe 3:20 But Judah shall dwell for ever, and Jerusalem from generation to generation.

Were these scriptures fulfilled? If so when? I would especially appreciate your understanding of Eze. 37:25 above.

Thank you again for your time and patience - DLL
