Greetings DLL, This is the Day that the Lord has made, the Day of Salvation, Praise His Holy Name. I believe we are of the same understanding now of what " forever " means as used in various verses of the Bible. I do not want to appear that I am putting you off regarding looking at Jeremiah, Ezekiel and so forth, but I must maintain that we must first understand Daniel's prophecy. We will look at all these verses after we complete our study of Daniel as we both agreed to. DLL, Please consider the following three criteria so necessary to understand the Old Testament prophets; 1. Who wrote it. 2.When was it written. 3. To whom was it written. Ezekiel and Jeremiah and other prophets were speaking to National Israel either going into the 70 year captivity or some already in captivity. ( Babylonian ). Ezekiel 36:19-28 talks of the remnant returning to the land after this captivity, prior to the coming of the Messiah. In due time DLL we will look at all the counsel of Gods Word, trusting in the Holy Spirit to give us His understanding. I will be away from my computer this afternoon DLL, hopefully tonight we can carry on our discussion in Daniel, that is providing you do not have any further questions on Daniel.
