Rick,

When I first started out, I was using SOES limit and market orders because I was chasing the momentum.

Lately, I have been using stochastics to time my entry and exit which gives me more time to place my orders so I have switched over to ARCA limit orders.

I think I have seen more split fills in the last week due to the Nasdaq rules changes, but it is hard to be certain.

Market makers are allowed to trade through INCA, so that 1 & 40 scenario was probably intended to scare small investors in the desired direction.
