Internet is in its infancy. Wall Street knows this and willing to pay huge price for these stocks, but ultimately, will pay attention to persistent earnings. Browsing the internet will not make money. Money is going to be made in two important ways: 1. Advertisement on internet 2. e-Commerce IMHO, the latter will be even more important, especially,e-commerce between companies to companies. The three big winner are going to be AOL, NSCP( which ahead of everybody else and writing massive amount of softwares in order to make it possible) and MSFT.
