Bob; The truth has been posted many times and the people involved still just cling stubbornly to their own understanding. The truth???? Does this not show were you are coming from........ Who gave you such authority to claim to know the truth. I have always stated what I believe in regards to Gods word and nothing more. I think you pointed out the problem here Bob it's called Christian dogma. The Old Covenant has always been stated by God as everlasting, it is true that sacrifices need not be done and was replaced by Jesus but that does not nullify it, if it did the Ten Commandments would be nullified among other things. This will NEVER change, the old cannot be brought back because it was not perfect, it is not better than the new, so why would God bring it back? Perfect?? Who said to bring it back.......... Who said it was better than the New.......... Jesus was a Jew and he gave his life for ALL humanity a very powerful gift, and in turn many Christians have taken that gift and turned it against the very people were it came from. Let me remind you that the Jews were doing sacrifices to God before Jesus came to this earth and they were overall obedient to his laws if that was not the case and they rejected God (before the return of Christ) Jesus would have never come and sacrificed his life for the sins of the world. Why would he come......... The Romans worshipped stone figures as well as the rest of the world. Yes the Jews are not perfect and God did punish them throughout the Old Testament but he always and the Jews always embraced each other. I think what is getting old is that many claim all the blessings from God by simply stating that they accept Jesus from the white supremacist to the Pope. When one states to me that they are a Christian I always question to myself what faction of Christianity.......... The truth has been posted many times I think that statement is were most of the problem lies on this thread.......... by what authority do you claim as well as others to know the TRUTH. I believe that God has his hand on Israel (the Jewish State) why is it that it irritates so many people that this may in fact be the case............. Alan
