Joe DiGenova made an important point on a Sunday show. If Clinton admits sex to the Grand Jury or as part of a mea culpa, he will automatically re-open the Jones case with an additional civil rights complaint. This would be in addition to the potential perjury and obstruction charges he would face. On the other hand, if he tells the GJ there was no sex, and then Starr proves there was, he will surely be impeached for perjury to a Federal grand jury. He's in a can't win situation, if you believe he actually had sex with her.

I agree altho any attempt to weasel[some on my side may not like that word but I think it is apt]out of the Monica case is some what justified based on political realities and the fact that this should never have come up.Having said that I do admit that it is ugly and does the Presidency harm. But he of course must be accountable for any real wrongdoing and deal with the results.
