<dow 20000 in year 2000>

Thanks, Lizard. Is that support or resistance? Need to know.
Also did you mean the year 2000 exactly or some time in the 3rd
millenium?

Any constructive predictions are highly appreciated.

Cheers,

Phil

lizzy,

Of course, DOW 20,000 is possible but likely very improbable. This from a recent Barron's:

THERE'S NO CONNECTION BETWEEN STOCK PRICES AND CORPORATE PROFITS, CONTINUED--According to Barron's of July 6, 1998, total U.S. stock market capitalization is 150% of U.S. gross domestic product. [The previous post-1720 record is 135% equity to GDP for the Nikkei on December 31, 1989.] Of all the money currently invested in U.S. equities, 90.4% was invested during the past seven years.
