I'm about to interject a little heresy here...but-
the internet isn't always (or most often) todays cheapest route for an inexpensive pc.
Fry's in dallas has 32mb edo 72 pin simm ram for 28 bucks..
64 meg sdram168 pin dimm ram for 75 dollars.
a memorex flatbed scanner with ocr for 59 bucks---unreal.
Check your local papers for local builders and suppliers---it can be surprising.
Buying locally helps the local economy, and can give you the best deal and service.
