Hello Don, Thank you kindly for your response. Before anything is said, please accept that whatever we discuss I have no intent to convey anger or insult towards you in any way. Someone else on this line stated how the computer is cold and inpersonal in comparison to being face to face with each other. My desire is to convey Gods' love in honourable conversation with you and all others in a way that He would approve of. First off, my reference to Spurgeon, Moody, Whitefield and Mueller is not to inferr that they are the authority or test. The word of God states that an evil tree does not bear good fruit or likewise a good tree does not bear evil fruit and we would know them by their fruits as found in Matthew 7:15-20. These men by Gods' grace were used of Him to lead millions of people to Christ and utilized the KJV. Secondly, as I stated I know we could enter into lengthy discussion as to versions of the bible and which is the final authority in the matter. This I know from reading your posts is not the important issue. Instead Don, I ask you. What say you of Christ? I believe I can safely make the assumption that you are a member of the Watchtower Society, a Jehovahs Witness. If I am wrong then please correct me as from what I have read your beliefs line up with their teachings. If this is the case then we are at extreme odds as to the very nature of Jesus and how we view Gods saving grace. I am willing to discuss this matter with you at length asking Jehovah God to provide us with His guidance and I ask you to accept as I have already stated what my intent is. I accept His word as the final authority in all matters. If you have looked at any of my other posts you will already know where I stand. For the record I will state that Jesus is my Lord and Saviour and that I believe His word where He states in John 14:6 "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. I firmly believe and am willing to state my case using only the word of God that Jesus Christ is God in the flesh and that He gave Himself for the propitiation of my sins and all who will receive Him. I ask you now Don, what say you of Christ? May God bless you and guide you this and every day. John
