OT - Gas Prices

I paid $1.199 here in Seattle. That was for regular at Chevron.
Not the buck a gallon gas I've been hearing about but down from
the $1.53 of last summer. And given the congestion on the
bridges around here, I don't think Seattle drivers are driving less.

How about 93.9 for branded Exxon or Mobil? Yes. Dallas, Texas suburb. Most stations still range around 95.9 to 98.9, but interstate highway exits and more expensive areas can be as high as 1.01. There's a corner up near where a friend of mine lives in Plano, that's 93.9. Exxon on one corner; Mobil on the other.

Jon,

Try 88 cents per gallon in Atlanta GA. Atlanta has perfect location
on pipelines from Texas and Louisiana refineries plus lower state
gasoline excise tax. Back in the 1970's Atlanta never had gas lines during the oil embargoes. Houston price is 98 cents for regular.

On the other hand, Texas and Florida have no state personal income
taxes!
