yea, but my thinking is that Amazon.com would make a nice business worth about $2-$4 billion in 3 to 4 years if they leverage themselves into higher margin products. Not anything close to the present valuation.

William:

<<<estimates are low>>> true and does expain why analysts DOUBLED their loss estimates on amzn for last quarter. As some KTEL veterans used to say on other boards, if you believe in this company, act on the strength of your conviction -- back up the truck, mortgage the house and load up on share. (Disclaimer, I think that's one of the utterly stupidest things anyone can do, but if you're as impervious to any rational argument which even calls into question amzn's future, as you've proved to be so far, then, heck go for it).

William,Estimates are low.> Because if you lower them, enough they can't disappoint! This entire topic is a joke, if you lower the earnings expectations enough, then Aol will look wonderful. Compare IBM to Aol.
Ibm made how much? Aol, made how much? The last time I checked they were close in stock price.
God bless America.
