There's another JCI thread on SI (Short-term traders forum). You can read about the Real Logic deal on post #15 (May 14). I understand that there is an association between RL and JCI about MLS, but it seems that MLS was sold in the end. Now, maybe i don't understand correctly what the deal means, as English is not my main language. You're right. JCI's copyright still appears on the MLS site.
