Mike, why don't you like NVLS ever? Given you feel that the semi equip makers will see alot more pain before seeing bottom, are you phasing into puts on them?

I've read some of your views on the boxmakers re: CPQ, IBM, GTW ... do you have a full position of puts in any them or just partial positions, and how long do your trades typically last before you take profits, fold or roll them? Thanks.

MB, u r not picking on me. copper mine: IBM's got it LU wants but is compalining it's too expensive. me thinks it's worth it.
When a customer compalins about the price that means he is sold on the product. EE times has a great big article on NVLS business.
Inspite of the current new situation in japan,
Amat closed +tive friday and monday. both -tive days for the market... by the time earning shows up on the spread sheets it wil be too late. some one is buying these stocks. R U?

Few Novellus customers are following IBM's lead in using copper at 0.22
micron, but many, Harris claimed, are planning an implementation at 0.18
micron. "The copper timing was really excellent," he said. "The use of copper
interconnects will grow 80 percent per year for the next several years."

boxmakers
I don't know about other box makers but DELL is not going broke
in my life time. I have read Dell's balance sheets qurter after qurter. Dell can get HIGH just on a screwdriver.
