I think it is premature to talk about "slanderous allegations" made by Mr. Davis, who in good faith posted what the newspapers reported and nothing more. Anyone would have made the same determination, based on the information he had.

No, no, no!
"I categorically deny signing any agreement with Global Games Corporation," said Minister of Finance Honourable Julius Timothy. "I have a proposal from them which I am looking at and nothing has been decided. I have not even taken it to cabinet."

Seems pretty simple to me. Notice that he never mentioned that he had asked Global Games to submit a proposal. I can not understand how Mr. Timothy could have signed a contract on the 28th if on the 27th he had not even taken it to his cabinet, and issued such a strong denial. This in and of itself is a serious difference of perspective.

Now it is up to Global Games to clarify the situation. Since the end of day has pasted and I am not aware that Global Games has released information to refute Mr. Davis post, I would assume that he was correct. As each day goes by, and Global Games does not explain the situation to its stockholders, the allegations become more concrete.

Believe me or not, I receive no pleasure in seeing people loose money, nor do I like to see this company flapping in the wind. Global Games has a fiduciary responsibility to its stockholders to quickly correct this misrepresentation if it is not true. A press release explaining the time line and such should be sufficient. Was the contract signed or not and by whom?
