Emile, "I definitely would like to know more because it could help me in my evangelization efforts. I've witnessed to quite a few Jews in my life and my record proves that I could stand some help in this area. So I am very interested in your testimony." Anytime! And when we do continue our studies, I think studying the Old Testament can really help you in your efforts. Realize, to a Modern Day Jew, there is so much said against the New Testament in their training, you can't even look at it without feeling guilty. It's so bad that it makes me want to cry how bad the religion could mess up a person in regard to the New Testament. And the Modern Day Jewish religion is not alone. Many other modern day religions poison you in one way or the other also. I have first hand experience in the Jewish religion, but also have much experience in the Modern Day religion of Catholism. My wife is a non-believer and she is Catholic. And most of my unbelieving friends are Catholic. These two religions run a close tie for leading people to hell! So to a lot of Modern Day Jews, because of the poison fed to them, you can't even introduce the New Testament or Jesus into a conversation to evangelize them. So that's why reliance on the Old Testament is so important. And that's how Bob was effective with me! Praise God for Bob and his use of thew Old Testament! Emile, for any message you want to tell a person using the New Testament, I could find one for you in the Old Testament just as effective. If you ever, and I mean ever (or anyone else on this thread), need help finding that perfect Old Testament scripture for someone that does not accept the New Testament, let me know and I will help you find it! I have believed in Christ as my Lord and Saviour for a just about 8 years now! Emile, I have stood by you on this thread before, as a brother in Christ, and will still, because I have seen your zeal in defending God and defending the Christian position in regards to salvation. You are well studied in many different other faiths and have shown to expose the many holes in these faiths. I feel this is a vital responsibility in evangilizing. I admire you for this knowledge. I might not agree with your approach sometimes on how you go about it, but properly channeled you are a very important part of God's work. I however, as all of us know, disagree with you in regards to the total fullfillment of the Old Testament. But really, what is important, is the salvation message. And this we will always agree on! Realize that! And I apologize to you, and Robert specifically if I have come off to strong. But I have seen the power of the Holy Spirit through the Old Testament first hand, and I'm trying to show this thread that the Old Testament alone could bring you to Christ! It did for me! The Old Testament is not dead, praise God! His words which he has given us, both in the Old and New Testaments, have been a miraculous gift that no one should undermine! Sorry if you don't agree! Emile, I will tell you if you were an obstacle in my walk. I am a very truthful person and know, if anyone, and I mean anyone, gets in the way of my walk with God, that God will take me by the hand and lead me around the obstacle. Because our relationship is somewhat close, and it gets only closer with time, God will not let it be disrupted for long! I would go to my grave to be with him before I let this happen. I truly mean that! So not to worry, Emile! Never forget, in God's eyes, we are all precious, believer and unbeliever! I know you know that already! He does not want to lose one of us! He loves us all! So my first obligation is to God in regard to unbelievers! And as I told you, I will talk to an unbeliever first, as it is much more important to save, then to discuss disagreements with saints. Then if I am not witnessing, I welcome our studies. So let's continue with Hebrews.... God Bless You Always, Steve
