Greetings Santiago!

Excellent post for those of us that believe we will be in the bleachers during the tribulation.

Your comment that the Church is not mentioned during the tribulation is bang on.
After the seven churches are addressed in Revelation Chapter 3 the church is not mentioned again.
Chapter 4 makes an interesting distinction...
1 AFTER THIS I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, COME UP HITHER, and I will show thee things which must be HEREAFTER.

The church age is finished, AFTER THIS! Salvation is now by faith plus works. People must be willing to die for that faith or suffer eternal punishment for worshiping the beast.

" Hereafter " designates after the church, after the body of Christ for we are the church. It is not mentioned again anywhere in the tribulation.

Compare this verse with Revelation 11:12 concerning the two witnesses
"And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, COME UP HITHER. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.

Just as John is told COME UP HITHER.

Just as we may hear COME UP HITHER.

I believe for the Christian it is a sin to ask God for revenge upon anyone. That is for Him to determine what is just and we are to pray for our enemies. Yet in Revelation 6 we see the tribulation saints, not the church, the body of Christ asking for just that....
9 And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held:
10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?
11 And white robes were given unto every one of them: and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.

They are not admonished for their request but told to be patient!
Rev. 20:4 shows them again as the tribulation saints that were beheaded for their witness...
They are not the church! It is nowhere to be found in the tribulation Praise God!

Rejoicing with you and all in the Lord,
John

Some thoughts for consideration:

In the time of Paul, it was salt that restrained rotting. Remove it, and within a very short time the decay is significant. So too with the world once the restrainer is removed.
Question: How can the Holy Spirit be removed and still have anyone saved during the tribulation? And, if He is here to save, why is He not still restraining?
This unnecessary conflict arises with the use of "he" in 2 Thess. 2. And ONLY because of this it is postulated that the He must be the Holy Spirit. Why can't the "he" be the BODY of Christ? (Eph. 2:15: and see the note on this verse in Dake's commentary)
Remember that Jesus did NOT say that the Holy Spirit is the Salt of the Earth (although it is through Him that the Church could be salt).

Stan

><>...Hi James, This post that you posted is so convoluted and non focused

that it loses any point at all that those writers you named were trying to convey. It also certainly goes far beyond what scripture teaches.... and stating the belief doctrines of those who are guided by other books and are not loyal to the gospel of Jesus Christ, gives no support to the writers position. This form of arguing is a non-argument!

James Would you please answer, in your own words, according to scripture, the following;

1.Where is scripture does it state that the tribulation is Jewish in nature?
2.Where is scripture does it state that the Holy Spirit will be removed from this earth?
3.Where is scripture does it state that Christ's return is a two process second coming?
4.Where in scripture does it state that Christ will return at any time?
5.Where in scripture does it state that Christians will not be here on earth at the arrival of antichrist?
6. Where in scripture does it state that Christ returns to take Christians out of here.... before the arrival of antichrist?
7.Where in scripture does it state that Christians only will be taken out of here?
8.Where in scripture does it state that God's wrath will be poured out on His servants?

Please answer James according to the Holy Bible and not some man's book.
________
________
Thank you in advance for your consideration in answering these questions.....I look forward to a very reasonable and mature conversation concerning the scriptures on this important issue.

And James please do not misinterpret my intent of this post to you, I write it with all good intentions. The spirit of this post is with all good will.
I only fear...... that if you insist on this pre-trib position (which again I say, is not written), that you will be wholly unprepared to deal with what you must do!......Unless you be one of the remnant of Rev.11, and that could very well be the case. In any case my friend James I pray that you reconsider.

II Th 2:3
3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

Have a blessed day James, you and your family
Shalom...><>
BTW....There is much written(in God's word) on the purpose of the church being here at the arrival of antichrist.
