Stan, I agree that the Holy Spirit must be here on earth in order for the last ones to be saved up to the time of the end. The Holy Spirit is never referred to as a "He" that I can recall either. It is also out of character for the Holy Spirit to be performing an act of a soldier in restraining the beast from emerging. It's not consistent with the ministry of the Holy Spirit as our Helper and to bear witness of Jesus Christ. We the church are not qualified either to restrain the beast. The word clearly states that the beast will wage war against the saints and defeat them (Rev. 13:7), that power over us has been granted to the beast. Also Paul would have said "we that now restrain" instead of "he that now restrains". It is consistent with the use of strong angels of war to do this job of restraining the beast. That is what I believe restrains the beast, a very strong angel of war. Bob
