It looks like certain Financials and Networkers are holding up well. Some Semis are doing very well lately like MU and TXN. IBM has not dumped and may continue further if the market does not fall tomorrow. I wonder what is attracting money to the semis during this market? Bob Graham

I wondering who made this "Favors" guy Mr. Informed Investor's Guru? Wasn't that Cramer guy taking that job? I watched and traded off cnbc fnn since 1985 and I pay careful attention to all it's analysts and how they come off on camera. If a (stock market event) is to occur and you are following your Guru than you should look at what the "Gurus" said in the past. I remember it well, Precter sp? said in 1987 that the dow will fall to 2300. At that time it was August and the dow was at 2800 . Friday Oct 16 1987 the market fell 100 points to 2300. Precter did not buy. Which spooked the market even more. Oct 19 1987 the market closed down 500 in the 1700 hundreds The time in which (The Event) took place is also important. In 1987 it took 2 months (end aug to end oct). If everyone knows it's going to happen than their options must expire worthless before it can happen. I do expect a "event" to occur but timing is going to be of the essence.
