It seems to me that the combination of SOI (silicon on insulator) and Copper is a profound danger to Intel, then not to mention Alti-Vec - PPC in its current configuration has all but ended Intel's formerly "high profile" TV advertising. More importantly - I am not seeing the same kind of momentum with Intel technology development. If MSFT was smart they would "dust of NT for PPC" - I am seeing more and distributions of Linux for PPC and other flavours of UNIX. Also consider price/size - and the emerging embedded systems markets - I believe that Intel is going to be a no show - or am I missing something?. Is anyone shorting this stock? Have never played that game - feel quite good about experimenting with Intel. Any advice would be appreciated.
