They support him or they've bought the WH spin that this is all about "sex". I think if you look at the same poll you'll see an equal number don't believe him. JLA

Well, if you take this thread as a microcosm of American society, there's quite a disparity.

I've lost count of how many here disapprove of the Clinton Administration's conduct, but the supporters so far total five: Greenpeace, lazzard, Bateman, Jay, and pezz. Greenpeace, Bateman, and lazzard have pretty much stopped posting. They weren't very convincing in their defense of the Clinton Adminstration, consisting mostly of the same old "good economy," "no war," and "it's all about sex" mantras. Most of the questions I posed to all of them have gone unanswered - because there are no answers that reflect favorably on the Clinton Administration.

If 65% of the people approve of Clinton's performance, they are either ignorant of the facts or have a vested interest in his remaining in office.
