Bob asks, but is that registered holders or beneficial holders?
... and ... ? Most retail investors hold stock "in street name" which means it is registered on the company's books in the name of the broker, not the beneficial owner. Just wondering whether that 300 means what you think it means.

Not sure Bob, but I own shares of various companies in my brokerage account(s) (both cash and margin), and I receive the proxies, and the the quarterlies, via the brokerage, so I'm pretty sure that I'm a shareholder of record, otherwise I couldn't vote. Others here who are long Amazon might have a similar experience?
