I am a novice at investing, so I have some questions.

1. MPSG only has 22,00,000 outstanding shares. Isn't this good?

2. MSPG only has 350,000 subscribers. Doesn't this number have plenty of room to increase?

3. Cable modems. This is offered where I live, but it quite a bit higher (over $30). Also, you do need additional hardware. Are the cable companies equipped to handle all the tech support calls?

Just in case anyone is interested. The FCC today moved toward allowing the Bell companies to offer XDSL through unregulated subsidiaries. They explicitly stated that the Bell companies will not be required to wholesale data services at a discount. What does this mean for MSPG and its hopes to offer high speed access to residential subscribers? It means that they won't be able to offer high speed access over phone lines or over cable lines (because the cable companies also have no requirement to resell). Unless MSPG wants to become a telephone company (with large negative earnings) it is now well on the way to obsolescence. I wouldn't bet there will be a thriving dial up ISP market in a couple of years!!! In case you're curious the FCC's web site is www.fcc.gov
