Yes, it sounds right. Last winter you could judge the day by doing the opposite of the overnight S&P futures.

HiSpeed, it sounds right. I expect the market to be hesitant at the open. If it falls another 100-200 points, then we'll be in trouble.

Tokyo stocks opened lower. Not looking good so far.

And that's exactly what happened this morning! A sell-off followed by a rally. This looks like the bottom, IMHO. However, I will still keep a fairly tight stop in place if people continue to sell into strength as has been done the past week.
