The senior investment analyst for DLJ came on MoneyLine last night and told Lou Dobbs straight faced that he anticipates the DOW will break 10,000 by years end.

I saw two "experts" on CNBC today, one after the close, saying the same thing. The one after the close was a mutual fund manager (can't remember the fund) and he was openly angry, blaming today entirely on Ralph Acamporra (sp?) as if his comments today (I think Ralph's comments actually came after the morning reversal and 226 point drop) somehow caused the last two weeks of declines.

This morning, they had a guy on (named Frenkel) taking viewer calls and assuring everyone that the Dow would be at 10,800 within 12 weeks.

The sad thing isn't that these guys are such idiots, it's that they get paid huge bucks for giving advice like this and will probably continue to get big bucks for bad advice after they lose a big chunk f their investors' money.

Regards,
Bob

<This is the brokerage said AMZN would hit 175, so obviously DLJ has a great sense of humor.>
DLJ, one of the big 6. Remember Jamie Kiggen the DLJ analyst who told us the buy Amzn up to$175ps.
This morning DLJ is telling us to buy Aol up to $175ps. Why do they love this $175 price.
I the meantime DlJ continue's to have a large amount of Amzn stock in their inventory along with the other 5, but won't let you buy any short shares.
The six that control the float, control the stock price (STILL).
Trust me.
