I went to see "Saving Private Ryan" last night. The realism was excellent, but it is also the bloodiest war movie ever. It could be said that this is an antiwar move with the depicted war horrors.

Btw, the gunfire sound effects were made in Georgia. The guy that Spielberg contracted with is a personal friend of my 28 year old stepson. Spielberg did not want to fake the gunfire since the veterans would know the difference. So, they packed up sound equipment and came down to Georgia to produce the live fire sound.
