I was thinking the same thing. Why is this guy hyping his habitual stock on the NVAL thread?

Lots of good news about NVAL, but the stock sits there, doing not a blessed thing.

In due time all those baby boomers are going to go to get their glasses checked. Profits! Yeah. I see them posted in BIG, BOLD, ITALICIZED letters and the price per share in double digits.

So much for my vision...heheh.

Here are the numbers...looks good to me (but I have to go to NVAL soon for a changed Rx!)

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga., Aug. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- National Vision Associates, Ltd. (Nasdaq: NVAL - news) announced
sales results for the four weeks ended August 1, 1998.

Total net sales for the four-week period were $16.3 million, an increase of 19.7 percent over the comparable four-week
period a year ago. Comparable store sales for domestic vision centers, excluding Midwest Vision and the company's recently
completed acquisition of Frame-n-Lens, increased 6.0 percent over the level recorded in the comparable four-week period a
year ago. At August 1, 1998, excluding vision centers acquired with the Frame-n-Lens acquisition, NVAL operated 453 vision
centers compared to 363 vision centers at July 26, 1997.

For the fiscal year-to-date, total net sales were $121.8 million, an increase of 18.8 percent over the comparable period a year
ago. Year-to-date comparable store sales for domestic vision centers increased 4.0 percent.

National Vision Associates, Ltd. is the nation's second largest optical company in terms of locations, including 287 locations
with Frame-n-Lens and 50 freestanding locations that operate under the trade name, Midwest Vision. The Company's retail
operations offer a full line of optical goods including spectacles, contact lenses, prescription and non-prescription sunglasses
and a full line of optical accessories. In addition, independent Doctors of Optometry are available adjacent to store locations.

Another good month of sales. . .particularly like the same store sales increase. NVAL sells at a discount to the Industry average price ratios. The company's management is taking a long term focus to increase both profitability and sales.
I added to my position recently.
