MIFGY have confirmed that AGM date is 20Aug in London but I have yet to see a formal RNS (UK Regulatory New Service) as to the date of the Q2 Results - which all the BB's have as 14Aug.

Last formal notices were late July - about Dir. award of stock options.

As to a forecast - I have nothing to base an updated comment on. No recent news has surfaced. UK broker consensus is currently for 18.5p, eps in '99 putting them on a prospective p/e of 24.5 - which makes it just about the cheapest stock in the UK IT mid-caps.
Mid price as I type is 455p - up 2.5p on the day.

Arrow - I recall your earlier concerns of MIFGY being very overvalued - not the case now.

One other point wich may interest you - taken from a UK IT newsletter....

"Richard, in your article concerning Micro Focus contained in the July 1998 issue of System House you state that "the majority of shareholders
reside in the US." In fact, 87% of our shares are held in the UK by UK investors and although we are primarily traded in the UK we consider
ourselves a global company with distributed operations in over forty countries world-wide.

Hope this helps. I enjoy your monthly review of the market and wish there was something as concise in the US.

Regards

Martin Waters - President and CEO - Micro Focus"
