William Fleckenstein, in his daily market rap (www.stocksite.com) offers the rumor that Goldman Sachs was the buyer staging the stunning rally in the last 20 minutes. The rumor is that GS bailed out Rubin, Greenspan and the boys. Interesting stuff.
